David Stephens is the son and grandson of men who founded and pastored three UPC churches in the Lansing, Michigan, area for over 70 years. His two sons and wife are currently working on advanced degrees.

 

Youngest son, David J., is working on a master’s degree in Public Administration. Nathanael is completing his dissertation for a Ph.D. in Psychology, and wife, Kathy, is getting her master of arts in Community Counseling. David, himself, worked several years as a social worker in the areas of Child Protective Services and Family Services.

 

As of 2010, he has pastored for 39 years.
